Company Settings

Company settings control how CloudRent Pro works for your business — your branding, business details, default behaviours, and system-wide preferences. Configure these settings when first setting up, then adjust as your business evolves.

Accessing Company Settings

    • Click the gear icon in the sidebar

    • Or go to Settings directly

    • Select "Company"

Only Admins and Owners can modify company settings.

Business Details

Your core business information:

✓ Required

    • Company name

    • ABN (Australian Business Number)

    • Business address

    • Phone number

    • Email address

○ Optional

    • Website

    • Fax number

    • Additional locations

These details appear on invoices, quotes, contracts, and emails.

Branding

Customise CloudRent Pro's appearance:

Logo

    • Click "Upload Logo"

    • Select image file (PNG, JPG, max 2MB)

    • Crop if needed

    • Save

Your logo appears on:

    • Login screen

    • PDF documents (invoices, quotes, contracts)

    • Customer-facing portals

    • Email templates

Brand Colour

Set your primary brand colour:

    • Click colour picker

    • Enter hex code or select from palette

    • Preview and save

Tip: Use your website's primary colour for brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.

Rental Defaults

Invoice Defaults

    • Payment terms — Days until due (e.g., 14 days)

    • Auto-invoice — Automatically create invoices

    • Invoice numbering — Prefix and starting number

Tax Settings

    • GST registered — Yes/No

    • Default tax rate — 10% for Australia

    • Prices include GST — Display setting

Configure how documents are numbered:

Set prefix and starting number for each document type.

Business Hours

Set your operating hours:

    • Go to Settings → Company → Hours

    • Set hours for each day

    • Mark closed days

    • Save

Business hours affect:

    • Delivery scheduling

    • Available time slots

    • Calendar display

Public Holidays

Configure holidays when you're closed:

    • Go to Settings → Company → Holidays

    • Add Australian public holidays (or import)

    • Add company-specific closure dates

Holidays affect rental pricing (some businesses charge for holidays) and scheduling.

Terms and Conditions

Set default terms that appear on documents:

    • Go to Settings → Company → Terms

    • Enter your standard terms

    • Save

You can have different terms for:

    • Quotes

    • Invoices

    • Contracts

Set up all company details before creating invoices and quotes.

Check settings once a year. ABN, addresses, and terms may change.

Warning: Changing invoice numbering can affect accounting records. Be careful when modifying document numbers after going live.
