Navigation Overview

CloudRent Pro is designed for quick navigation and efficient workflows. This guide walks you through the main interface elements so you can find what you need fast.

The Sidebar

The left sidebar is your primary navigation. It's visible on all pages and provides quick access to every module.

Dashboard

Overview of today's activity, active rentals, revenue, and quick actions

Rentals

All bookings — quotes, reservations, active hires, and returns

Equipment

Your full inventory catalog with availability and pricing

Customers

Customer profiles, contact details, and rental history

Invoices

All invoices — draft, sent, paid, and overdue

Staff

Team management, roster, time tracking, and chat

Logistics

Delivery scheduling, job queue, and dispatch board

Service

Maintenance jobs, repair tracking, and service history

Settings

Company settings, integrations, and preferences

The Dashboard

Your dashboard is the home screen — it shows everything you need to know at a glance.

Dashboard Sections

    • Key Metrics — Active rentals, revenue this month, outstanding amounts

    • Today's Activity — Deliveries, pickups, and returns scheduled for today

    • Quick Actions — Buttons to create a new rental, customer, or invoice

    • Recent Items — Your recently viewed rentals, customers, and equipment

Tip: Click the CloudRent Pro logo in the top-left corner from any page to return to the dashboard instantly.

Global Search

The fastest way to find anything in CloudRent Pro is global search. Press Cmd/Ctrl + K from any page to open it.

What You Can Search

    • Customers — By name, email, phone, or company

    • Rentals — By rental number or customer name

    • Equipment — By name, SKU, or category

    • Invoices — By invoice number or customer

    • Staff — By name

    • Press Cmd/Ctrl + K to open search

    • Start typing your search term

    • Use arrow keys to navigate results

    • Press Enter to open the selected item

Page Layouts

List Pages

Pages like Rentals, Equipment, and Customers show lists of items. Common features include:

    • Search bar — Filter the list by typing

    • Status tabs — Quick filters for different statuses

    • Sort options — Click column headers to sort

    • Create button — Add new items (top right)

Detail Pages

When you click on an item, you see its detail page with:

    • Header — Key information and status

    • Tabs — Organised sections (Overview, Items, History, etc.)

    • Actions menu — Edit, delete, and other actions (top right)

    • Activity timeline — History of changes and events

Mobile Navigation

CloudRent Pro works on tablets and phones. On smaller screens:

    • The sidebar collapses to a hamburger menu (☰)

    • Tap the menu icon to reveal navigation

    • Tables become scrollable or stack vertically

    • Global search is accessible via the search icon
