My Jobs (Staff View)

The My Jobs view shows staff their assigned work — deliveries, pickups, and service calls. It's the home screen for drivers and technicians, showing what needs to be done and allowing status updates.

Accessing My Jobs

    • Log in to CloudRent Pro

    • Click "My Jobs" (or see on dashboard)

    • View assigned jobs

My Jobs is the default view for Driver and Technician roles.

Job List

Jobs are listed with key information:

Field

Description

Type

Delivery, Pickup, Service

Customer

Who the job is for

Address

Where to go

Time

Scheduled time window

Status

Pending, In Progress, Complete

Priority

Priority number or ASAP flag

Filtering Jobs

Filter to find specific jobs:

    • Today — Jobs scheduled for today

    • Upcoming — Future jobs

    • All — Complete history

    • By type — Delivery, Pickup, Service

Tip: Start each day by checking "Today" to see your complete schedule.

Job Details

Click a job to see full details:

    • Customer contact — Name, phone, email

    • Site contact — On-site person to meet

    • Equipment list — What to deliver/pickup

    • Instructions — Special notes for this job

    • Address and map — Tap to open in navigation

Accepting or Declining Jobs

When assigned a new job (if accept/decline is enabled):

    • Notification received

    • Review job details

    • Click Accept or Decline

    • If declining — Enter reason

Managers are notified of your response.

Starting a Job

    • Open the job

    • Click "Start Job"

    • Status changes to "In Progress"

    • Timer begins (if time tracking enabled)

Starting a job lets the office know you're on your way or have arrived.

Completing a Job

    • After finishing the work

    • Click "Complete Job"

    • Optionally add notes

    • Optionally add photos

    • Submit

The job moves to completed status.

Adding Notes and Photos

Document your work:

    • Open the job

    • Click "Add Note" or camera icon

    • Type note or take photo

    • Save

Use photos for:

    • Delivery confirmation (equipment on site)

    • Damage documentation

    • Access issues

    • Completion proof

Navigation

Get directions to the job site:

    • Open the job

    • Tap the address

    • Opens in Maps app (Google Maps, Apple Maps)

    • Navigate

Note: Make sure your phone has a maps app installed. CloudRent Pro hands off to your preferred navigation app.

Contacting Customer

Call or message the customer:

    • Open the job

    • Tap phone number — Opens dialer

    • Tap SMS icon — Opens messaging

Job History

View your completed jobs:

    • Go to My Jobs

    • Select "Completed" filter

    • See past jobs with dates and details

📝 Check at Start of Day

Review all jobs to plan your route and timing.

💰 Update Status Promptly

Start and complete jobs in real-time. The office relies on status updates.

📂 Document Everything

Photos and notes protect everyone if issues arise later.

🎯 Communicate Problems

If you can't complete a job as scheduled, let the office know immediately.
