In this how-to, you will learn how to create and modify job statuses, categories and subcategories for your inventory.
Tip: Firstly, statuses allow you to give your jobs various statuses and colors, allowing you to see those colors in lists and on calendars
Tip: Categories and subcategories allow you categorise your inventory making it easy to search by category and drilling down to the subcategory if required
1. Click the icon in the bottom left corner.
2. Click “Configuration”
3. Click “NEW JOB STATUS”. Status allows you to set a status and a color to differentiate different jobs on calendars and in lists
4. Type a name for the status e.g. “REQUIRES SITE VISIT”
5. Type the name of the status and click the “color picker”
6. Click this button.
7. Click here.
8. Next we can add categories. Click “Categories” in configuration window.
9. Click “NEW CATEGORY”
10. Type in a category name e.g. “COMPUTERS”
11. Once created click the green dropdown
12. Click the + to add a sub category
13. Type in a sub category e.g. “Laptop”
14. Click “SAVE”
